Baldwin Wallace University congratulates our spring 2017 graduates! The following students completed all requirements for an undergraduate and/or graduate degree.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

The following local residents were among the 606 students who received degrees during the Commencement exercises at Grove City College on May 20, 2017. Delivering this year's Commencement address was Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence. The Class of 2017 was the largest class in Grove City College 140 year history. In recent years, the Grove City College's four-year graduation rate has climbed to 78 percent, while its six-year graduation rate has reached 83 percent. The average graduation rate in the U.S. is 59 percent.

John Carroll University students named to 2017 Dean's List.

John Carroll University is pleased to announce the following students who graduated during the May 21, 2017 commencement ceremony.

Internships are field experiences designed to provide a student learning opportunity under collaborative supervision between Colby-Sawyer College faculty, staff, and work site professionals. Internships offer the opportunity for students to enhance their academic programs with work experience related to career interests in all industry areas in national and international settings.

Liberty League commissioner Tracy King has announced that 222 winter sport student-athletes have qualified for the league's 2016-17 All-Academic Teams in their respective sports. A total of 32 RIT student-athletes earned All-Academic honors for the winter season.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Hard work in high school has paid off for college-bound seniors. The following students have earned Merit Scholarships to attend Alvernia University this fall.

Youngstown State University's best and brightest students have been named to the Dean's List for Fall Semester 2016.

Colby-Sawyer College recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Youngstown State University's most outstanding students have been named to the YSU President's List. To qualify, students must have earned a 4.0 grade point average in the Fall 2016 semester.

A distinguished group of students at Baldwin Wallace University has reached BW's pinnacle of academic honor society achievement with fall 2016 induction into the Dayton C. Miller Honor Society. Less than four percent of the undergraduate student body achieves membership in the society.

The Colby-Sawyer College chapter of this national honor society recognizes the academic achievement of juniors and seniors. To be eligible for membership a student must rank in the top ten percent of the junior or senior class and demonstrate the Alpha Chi values of truth and character.

More than 500 students earned endowed scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University this fall. BW has a long history of endowed scholarship support from alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. More than 385 named scholarships provide over $3 million to help students attend, persist and graduate from BW. Endowed scholarships vary in their requirements with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.

More than 400 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall earned $5.2 million dollars in merit scholarships for their outstanding high school achievements. BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $41 million in financial support from the University for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Rochester Institute of Technology celebrated its 131st Academic Convocation in May. Diplomas were distributed to graduates following the event at separate ceremonies held by each of RIT's nine colleges and two academic centers.

Over one hundred students achieved membership in Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) National Honor Society for First-Year Students in the fall 2015 semester. ALD is an honor society for full-time students who achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher and are in the top 20 percent of their class during their first year of higher education.
